Our Mentors — Impactfully

Emilio Saenz

Emilio is a 17-year-old founder and the creator of NaveganteAZ, a resource that helps Arizona families find bilingual education programs.

He has presented his work to the Arizona State Board of Education and shared it through Arizona news outlets. Impactfully turns the process he used into a repeatable framework for other high school students.

His premise is simple: students do not need to wait until they are older to solve a real problem — and the framework works across interests, from education and research to technology, events, and community resources.

Ava DiNapoli

Ava DiNapoli is a student at UC Berkeley, an accomplished public speaker, and a passionate advocate for youth leadership. She was the National Speech & Debate Association national Champion runner-up in Impromptu Speaking and has built an online community of more than 115,000 followers on TikTok.

Ava's own passion project, Junior Speakers, grew from her love of communication and mentorship. Through the initiative, she taught public speaking skills to more than 600 young people across 15+ countries, helping students build confidence and find their voices.

As an Impactfully mentor, Ava is excited to help students turn their ideas into meaningful projects, strengthen their ability to communicate their impact, and continue creating youth-led change in their communities and beyond.
